Control Unit
The High Proformace version of the EDU2AE offers twelve (12) additional paramaters for addtional process control and information.
The HP version displayes a torque value that is calibrated back to a offline Transducer. Limits can be set around the displayed torque value to indicate pass/fail situations. The unit includes the ability to run at the full torque of the tool for a controlled amount of time to overcome high prevailing torque in thread cutting applications. It is password protected which the EDU2AE is not. And, the EDU2AE/HP can screw and batch count.
The EDU2AE/HPro adds to the EDU2AE/HP with:
- 10 Pin I/O connector for lever signal, screw ok,, error message, stop motor, reverse & start signals - RS232 Serial port - 8 Pin I/O connector for program end, motor on, external reset, external ok, external escape, missing piece (photo eye)
EDU2AE user definable parameters:
Driver Model
Torque level adjustment: 2.6 to 442 in-lbs (tool dependent)
Joint type (HARD or SOFT) selects RPM profile
Break Time: down shift speed from pre-torque to final toque when in the Hard Joint RPM profile
Ramp Time: select from 0.2 to 3.0 Seconds
Speed: tool dependent
Minimum Time: select from 0.1s to MAX - 0.1s. Torque reached before this time will not activate torque output signal.
Maximum Time: select from MIN + 0.1 s to 20 sec. If torque is not reached before the MAX time the screwdriver will stop and an error message will be displayed.
