Torque Controller
This system allows eight (8) user defined parameter sets (programs) to be set up to control the torque, RPM profile, direction and time for any PLUTO screwdriver: The system also displays a torque value after every tightening that is calibrated back to an external transducer at setup. The system is controlled through a LCD display on the front of the unit. Changes to the parameters are performed by scrolling through the settings using four buttons, no PC is required.
The electronic control circuit cuts the power supply to the motor calculating the correct torque in response to 3 parameters: voltage, frequency and current, according to the user selectable parameters below.

Torque level adjustment: 2.6 to 442 in-lbs (tool dependent)
Joint type (HARD or SOFT) selects RPM profile
Break Time: down shift speed from pre-torque to final toque when in the Hard Joint RPM profile
Ramp Time: select from 0.2 to 3.0 Seconds
Speed: tool dependent
Minimum Time: select from 0.1s to MAX - 0.1s. Torque reached before this time will not activate torque output signal.
Maximum Time: select from MIN + 0.1 s to 20 sec. If torque is not reach before the MAX time the screwdriver will stop and an error message will be displayed.
